St Matilda’s College, Oxford is haunted. The building was formerly a convent and, so the story goes, three ghostly nuns wander its passages during the hours of darkness. The story goes on to say that anyone who sees the ‘three sisters’ will not be long for this world.
When one of the students mysteriously disappears, the Dean of the College, Dame Emily Shaw, has no option but to call in the police. Her call appears to be answered when a Police Box arrives in her study; the Doctor and Leela have come to investigate and uncover the dark secret that has lain buried beneath the college for almost a thousand years…
MATT SMITH UPDATE
A lot of fans are curious about what is going on with Matt Smith’s appearance in Terminator: Genysis?
Well it appears to be a pretty big deal because the former Doctor Who star has been absent from most pre-release marketing for the film. Although Smith appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, the magazine disclosed very little information about his character.
Smith has signed on for two more prequels with tentative release dates scheduled for 2017 and 2018. Filming for the final two films will again take place in New Orleans.
The former Doctor is said to play Tim, John Connor’s best friend. A younger version of Tim appeared in 1991’s, Terminator: Judgment Day.
Rumors are circulating that Smith’s character has not been seen in any trailers in order to hide his identity which is important to the plot development of the film. Another rumor is that Smith’s character is the embodiment of Skynet and thus becomes a bigger and more essential part of the story as the franchise continues.
